The Sink hole of life

In the little town of Seffner Florida while a man was sleeping the earth came alive and swallowed the man, his dresser and full size bed, leaving only a hole as a reminder of what used to be.  His brother valiantly leaped into the growing chasm, hearing his brothers muffled screams of fear but he was unable to find his swallowed brother and had to retreat for his own safety.

One morning shepherd Pyotr Malinkin in Russia took his cows out to the pasture as usual. Having gone five kilometers into the field the man was shocked to find a huge hole in the ground six meters in diameter. The pit was not on the spot the day before, it appeared overnight. No cows have been reported missing or mutilated.

A vast, unexplained sinkhole threatens to swallow the small East Texas town of Daisetta.  This Sinkhole started as a small pocket of disturbance but has grown and continues to expand its devastation encompassing the entire town and the surrounding farms and homes.  No one knows why this hole is there, the towns’ folk only know that their town will soon be history.

A giant 200ft-deep crater appeared after Guatemala was hit by tropical storm Agatha.  When you look at the pictures of the shanty type village it’s like a swath of earth has been transported, simply removed from the middle of the street, leaving only an unexplained hole.

Many around the world are showing similar levels of fear, fear of being swallowed while asleep or taken down into bowels of the earth as they walk to work or school.  Some of the sink holes can be explained by broken pipes leaking massive amounts of water under the ground but many more have no explanation leaving experts scratching their heads over the increases in terrain activities.  

Some are suggesting alien involvement; others are convinced that governments are constructing huge underground tunnels, modern catacombs obviously for nefarious purposes and yet others are claiming that the earth itself is waging a campaign of selective reprisals, a terrorist tactic to create global unrest.  There is even the suggestion that global warming of the earth has altered the very balance of the earth with a resulting shift of equilibrium creating pockets of instability, sink holes.

There are other types of sink holes as well, most not so obvious but just as devastating.  A black hole is a type of sink hole in a region of space-time from which gravity prevents anything, including light, from escaping.  These cosmic sinkholes like their muddy earthy counterparts start with a weakness and exploit that weakness creating a void.  That void continues to expand until sufficient resistance and equal power regulates its expansion causing them to stop.  Very little is known about the black whole, at least from what I’ve read.

Another type of sink hole is the process of federal spending.  This may not fit the physical explanations but it does fit the general idea of the how a sink hole works.  Our government starts with a well-intentioned program but each year the budgetary requirements continue to grow, the organization grows the people hired continue to expand and the financial needs also enlarge , creating a cycle of expansion and depth so large that no one can see the bottom.  Be careful not to get to close you may get sucked into the sliding mud or pulled into gravitational forces that will eventually rip you limb from limb as your body passes over the event horizon, the pain and discomfort lasting an eternity as time slows but your body is stretched well beyond it physical limits. 

 

The sequester means to Isolate or hide away (someone or something): "the artist sequestered himself in his studio for two years".

As a noun it’s been developed as a general cut in government spending.  How they co-opted the word to mean a general cut in spending actually comes as a result of a legal term of sequestration meaning the seizure of property for creditors or the state.  All I know is that the government’s black hole of spending will not be affected by this level of sequestration.  It has been suggested that the automatic cuts amount to about 500 billion, the total debt is approximately 16 trillion, that’s about .03 cents per dollar.  Not much of a cut.

The sink hole that is our government is growing by leaps and bounds and the edges of the chasm are growing closer and closer to each of us.  This sequestration is nothing more than a spoonful of sand thrown into the vast Pacific Ocean in an attempt to stop the constant force of each and every wave.  3 cents for every dollar, do they really think we’re that stupid?  Yes they do, that’s why their doing it…..
