The Well Conceived Folly

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS 1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war. 

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. 

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength. 

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. 

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites. 

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination. 

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

 8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N. 

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress. 

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N. 

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.) 

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. 

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths. 

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office. 

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. 

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. 

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 

18. Gain control of all student newspapers. 

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. 

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. 

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms." 

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art." 

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press. 

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. 

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy." 

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch." 

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." 

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. 

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man." 

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. 

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. 

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus. 

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities. 

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. 

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions. 

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. 

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat]. 

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. 

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. 

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. 

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems. 

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government. 

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. 

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Perfect, Perfection Problems

 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”  Matthew 5:48.

When trying to interpret what it means to be perfect, we often fail to consider the phrase, ...even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.  If God is perfect, and I believe he is, then everything about him is perfect.  

For humanity, the statement of being perfect is a conditional process that helps us to move toward perfection.  We can be “perfect” in some things, while not being even close to perfect in other things.  God is perfect in all things and that means he is consistently perfect in all that he does.  God, therefore, is unchanging and does not need to change, because he is perfect.

The very notion of Gods’ perfection confuses man, who looks to a god that needs to change based on the perception of man's limited mind and ever-changing circumstances.  We prefer a God who changes for us, rather than us changing to become like God.

Regardless of your current level of belief, there either is, or there is not a God.  Debating the issue is superfluous, there is no way to prove the existence of God.  For those who have faith, God is real and the life that comes from that faith can be ever-expanding and fulfilling. 

That belief supersedes all else and introduces man to a life filled with the possibility of perfection and eternal life, while those without faith in God do their best to make their lives worthwhile and meaningful.

I have a belief in God and I am filled with gratitude for the perspective that faith provides.  

Others may not believe, and they are also grateful for their lives, but without a supreme being, or a focus for our faith, where is their drive toward perfection?  Why would you want to strive to be perfect if, after all the efforts to achieve that lofty goal, you simply died?

Some will call me a simpleton for even believing, let alone pursuing perfection based on an unprovable concept of faith, propped up by ethereal meanderings like prayer or feelings, but who is to say that my pursuit of perfection is any different from another’s pursuit of happiness, or joy, or any other emotionally charged feeling that drives men to act positively and for the good of others?    

I guess the real question is why do we want to improve?  What drives us to do better, to be better?  What motivates us to want to do good things, to look at life with gratitude, being thankful for what we have as opposed to complaining about what we do not have?

I think it’s the light of Christ.  I think it’s God and I for one am thankful for that understanding, even if it a misguided hope, at least I have a hope that helps me move toward perfection.  I will never make it completely but that hope of one day finding my way is all that I need right now.

Corruption Reduction

 Regardless of which side you’re on, be it Conservative or Liberal, there is an overriding similarity between us; we both believe that there is rampant corruption, in government and in the world.  

We have not determined the differences of who is behind that corruption, leaving us all pointing our fingers toward each other.  The question that must be asked is:  Are most people corrupt?   By themselves, are individual’s corrupt, or do they only become corrupted when they succumb to the forces put upon them by others?

Corruption is “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery”.  I would add for the purpose of amassing power or control over others to that definition since the power to control others seems to be a more fundamental purpose.  

“Everyone has a Price” suggesting that everyone is susceptible to being corrupted if the price is right.  To some extent, some people will lower their standards if they achieve what they believe to be beyond their ability or power, even if that decision has deleterious effects on others.  Those who chose those decisions are then more corrupted than those who do not.

Perhaps most of us are corruptible, but only to a point.  When we get an unobstructed view of our actions and the consequences of those choices, we invariably feel the guilt associated with those decisions or thoughts, that is a good thing, it is not good to ignore those feelings.

Our problem today is that I and many like me look at those who favor liberalism and think, “the end justifies the means”, meaning that anything is acceptable to the left if they achieve their goals.  On the flip side, Liberals probably have the same bias.  Are we both wrong?  Is one side more wrong than the other?  Are liberals more corruptible than conservatives, or is it the other way around?  How do we establish the truth of these allegations for both sides of the ideological spectrum?

There has to be a right way and a wrong way.  One side or the other is more corruptible than the other, but when your viewing life through the lens of that ideology the view toward the other side is so clouded and obscured by our own view that it is impossible to justify the logic amid the chaos.  

In the definition of Corruption, it states that only those in power can be corrupt, but when a government is corrupt, the citizens soon follow and become corrupt.   Not all fall prey to the corruption above but it is very much like the trickle-down approach, Corruption breeds more corruption, which then normalizes corruption to where it becomes normal.

Despite who is more corrupt, the Right or the Left, the only way to disengage your lives from that negative normalization is to eschew all forms of corruption, in all its forms and from every avenue that enters our homes, our businesses, and our personal lives.  That means we need to act honorably and faithfully towards others.  

We need to be honest and respectful, compassionate, with empathy and understanding to others different from us.  Only then will we be able to recognize the tendrils of corruption and the puppet masters that attempt to control our lives, our freedoms, and our liberties.  Only then will we be able to see, eye to eye, and work together in building a better life, a free life, a life of joy and happiness, peace, and freedom.

Belief in God, is to me, a fundamental principle of how to fight corruption.  Without God, the motivation for curbing “the end justifies the means” philosophy becomes lost to our souls, leaving a gaping hole where Faith used to live. 

  

The alternative will be exactly what we have now but with no chance of change and no power to enact any changes.  We will be slaves to those above.  

I Will Never Be a Slave!

This Divided America is Good

The division of America is not necessarily a bad thing.  It is easy to see what the two sides want, Democrats and Republicans or more succinctly the Right vs the Left;  it diametrically opposes them to each other.

The Right wants to keep the America as it was created; the Left wants to ”fundamentally change” what America means and stands for.

The problem is the Left uses language that helps them accept those proposed changes as Americans, as essential to the ever-changing needs of the populous and the ever-expanding and living document of the Constitution.

There is ample evidence that supports that ideology.  One overwhelming fact is in the contrast between the actual Constitution as written and the adopted laws that have been implemented to administer that Constitution.  There are 4,743 words in the original Constitution.  The actual laws and rules of our enforced constitution exceed over 3,000 PAGES.  That is a problem.  

The other issue is the obvious move by the Left towards Socialism.  No longer is the word whispered between secretive individuals and groups; it is now an open and welcome goal of many on the Left.

The “Righ”t is opposed to such a departure, from the divinely inspired words of our Constitution.

Therein lies the division,  therein lies the need to divide, the need to distinguish between those who want to destroy our system of Government and those on the “Right” who want to protect it and even move closer towards its precepts.

I am strongly in favor of this division.  I want to know who is my enemy and who is attempting to destroy my Country.  I am an originalist; I am a constitutionalist and I want my Country to follow those 4,743 words and move away from the 3,000 pages of compromise, obfuscation the purposely tries to confuse and cloud the intent of our Founding Fathers.

We will no longer be America if the Left is allowed to prevail.  We will be American’s in name only; that is not good enough for me.

Voting Violations

 

I want to make sure that what I think is happening is not just a waking nightmare, but a real historical or should I say hysterical event?

This is what I know:

Prior to Trump taking the oath of office, the Democrats were talking impeachment.  The talk of impeachment was only general with no charges attached.  This is disturbing.  To think an opposition party could conjure up such a plan prior to any chance of impeachable offense is beyond the mind of any honest or moral individual. 

The rhetoric of Impeachment continued non-stop, along with a lengthy and extensive investigation that ended with Mueller finding nothing.  With the Russian connection imploding the House of Representative changed tactics and charged Trump with Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress, over a simple phone call of congratulations to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.  After the trial, they found Trump to be innocent, well; the Republican-controlled Senate acquitted Trump.

They found the false allegations of Abuse of Power and Obstruction to be baseless.  It makes you wonder why the Democrats would stoop to such a tactic when they had to know what they were peddling was false.  Hate, makes people do unthinkable things.  Hate misaligns the brain's moral center, creating a chasm where truth used to exist. In the absence of morality, anything can be rationalized as essential if your end goal is clearly defined,  and their end goal was very defined, get rid of Trump, at all costs.

The end goal for the Democrats and the media was and still is the destruction of Trump.  Nothing else matters.  Nothing else takes precedence and nothing gets in their way in accomplishing that end.

Also, prior to Trump’s inauguration, there were allegations against General Flynn and as a result, Flynn resigned but only because he had lied to the Vice President and not anything to do with the allegations of misconduct in relation to the Logan Act (18 U.S.C. §953) which is a more than a 200-year-old criminal statute that purports to ban Americans from engaging in unauthorized negotiations with officials from a foreign government, having a dispute with the United States.

No one has ever been convicted of this statute.  In fact, during the recent Senate hearing with Andrew McCabe, Senator Cruze asked if Biden should be investigated under the Logan Act since he was also talking to foreign leaders.  “He should not” (paraphrase) answered McCabe.

At every turn, every day, and often multiples times a day Trump was subjected to ridicule and called a racist, a misogynist, a fascist, a warmonger...the list goes on.  Members of Congress, Democratic members of Congress openly threatened his safety and the safety of his family by promoting unrest.  Listen to Maxine Waters and her almost daily attempts to undermine his presidency.

The democratic party platform is filled with Hate Trump rhetoric.  Besides hating Trump, they did all they could to get others to hate. The Democratic party has adopted anticapitalistic measures like the Green New Deal that will destroy our economy, make America dependent on others for Energy and deepen the pockets of those who lead us.  Taxes will be raised by dismantling the tax policies of Trump and by instituting direct taxes to pay for the socialistic measures favored by the Democratic party.

This is the first time in my memory and within the written memory of our History that a President has been attacked on all fronts by a coordinated assault by the opposing party, and by the News Media, with rare exceptions from conservative media personalities. Perhaps it had something to do with his promises to “drain the swamp”...too many that were living in that swamp fought back and the results are what we see politically.  

And then there was COVID-19, a real and dangerous virus that spread like wildfire, infecting millions of unsuspecting people and changing the world.  But, as it's been said, "never let a good crisis go to waste". The Covid disaster helped to accomplish some of those needed changes dreamed of by the Democrats. They changed the way we vote; we set aside voting standard and practices and instituted haphazard rules that included mail-in voting, that increased the numbers of dead people voting and those with double or even triple voting registrations.  

Limiting in person voting increased the potential for fraud, making it much easier to game the system. This new unchecked process of sending ballots to every past, present, and dead registered voter has dwarfed the corruption of old Chicago, making it possible to manipulate the vote count in virtually any contest, but even with all this, the race for President is close.  

It’s obvious that many dislike President Trump, but a recent poll shows that 70 million Republicans agree that this election was fraudulent.  70,000,000 Million active and concerned citizens have grave concerns about how President Trump was unjustly maligned and they have concerns regarding the validity of the Electoral Process. 

 Estimates report that nearly 160 million people voted this year.  70 million of those voters or approximately 44% of all voters believe that their votes were marginalized.  

That brings me to the real issue:  Since Trumps Presidency has been on the defensive from day one, and since he has had to waste valuable time defending himself against baseless claims and constant innuendo and spurious claims against his character, Donald J. Trump might have a reason to stop the entire election process and make the simple decision that because the elections cannot be verified, the elections should be redone.  Within a two-week window those taking part will have to show ID, No mail-in ballots,  absentee ballots would still be valid and all persons voting would have to visit a polling place designated and approved, with witnesses on both sides of the congressional aisle.

Redo the election, follow the standards that have been used for years, and then we can all see who really wins.

This is not about politics, not about ideology, this is about integrity, honesty, and reestablishing our faith in a system that is fairly and equally administered.  Unfortunately, now all we have is a mess.

Elections Meandering Madness

 

As we get close to this election, the madness of excitement is spilling over into the vats of anger and despair, especially for those on the Left.  What I don’t understand is the width of our differences.  We are all human, we all eat and sleep, strive to work and relax but the Left has this irrational fear of who we are and what we are trying to preserve, while the Left wants to change everything;  like Obama said We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”   But, change it into what?  It’s that unknown that scares me.

They act as if they fear us and are lashing out, in a desperate attempt to save their lives.  They fear me because I have different beliefs than they do.  I am a conservative who values morals; I like law and order and support the police.  I know that many Democrats want those things as well but it’s the loud and obnoxious Leftists that are vying for those radical changes and they seem to have the voice for all in the party.

 They fear me.  That, in itself, is a strange emotion to have to deal with.  Why would anyone fear me?  I’m getting older, I don’t get as mad as I used to,  and when I did, it really wasn’t that often, no reason to fear me over that.  I still work hard, not as hard as I used to but still harder than many.  Maybe they fear me over my work ethic?  I doubt that, since many of those who exhibit these hyper- emotionally charged, reactions do not work or dislike the fact that they have to work. 

I like the new Supreme Court Justice; she is perfect for the job.  They can’t fear me over that, I had nothing to do with that, even if I agree with Trump’s pick.  I guess that follows my law and order thing, so, maybe they fear those who want to take their “freedoms” away, even if their freedoms are not truly free.  They don’t understand that being able to do whatever you want, without regard to others or consequences is never free, it’s just wanton chaos.  And that chaos unchecked would morph into anarchy, with the strong rising to control the masses, leading to subversive rules and dictates that curb the freedoms of all except for the few at the top.  Why can’t they see that?

I guess what bothers me is that they don’t get it.  They want socialism; they support Marxism, do they not think about how they will be treated under an oppressive regime?  Or have they adopted a selfish attitude regarding the truth of Communism and the relationships of their ideology within these systems that promote murder and mayhem?  Just a side note:  Under Communism and Socialism they estimate, they have put over 200 million people to death and many just because they thought differently than the all-powerful State.  But, if they don’t have to work, or they get free stuff, it really doesn’t matter who is in control.

When you look at the news, you see two groups that follow certain patterns of behavior.      Group 1,  reacts strongly to suppress the options of others.  Case in point:  University professors who demand that other professors and staff conform to their view of life.  Group 1, also riots and destroys indiscriminately, forcing others to abandoned their purpose of a fight to preserve it.  

Group 2, is more moderate in their expressiveness, allowing others to believe differently as long as they do so under the law.  They are law-abiding,   conscientious, they truly do care about others.  This is the group that gives to charity, volunteers, and steps up when needed.  

I am in group 2, and I think that is why they fear me.  I am different from the way they are; I think differently, have different goals and objectives and worst of all, I want to live under the Constitutional Republic that our Founding Fathers formed for us; they do not want that and are determined to destroy what we have.  

They may act as they fear me but in truth, they do not fear, their actions are a derivative of anger and disdain, they are bold, relentless, and unforgiving.    They will continue to shout and riot, destroy, and breed chaos until they are STOPPED. 

We can either continue to shrink away from their assaults and attacks or we can stand tall and force the issues of goodness and forgiveness and charity under the law until they have no fight left.  If we fail in this, we fail completely.

This election is perhaps the harbinger of things to come.  Either we stay the course with Trump, help him in his fight to drain the swamp, refuse to give in to their demands, or we sit back and just let it happen.  Whatever happens, however, is not a choice I think we should adopt, as it will cause that fundamental change to America, leaving America, America in name only.

IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE !

Governor Newsom, it is so easy to blame Global Warming on the devastation caused by these fires.  It is so easy to blame others for your horrendous mistakes in managing this state.  I can say the same of the leaders in Oregon and Washington.   Your duty, your primary responsibility is to manage the resources of California for the sole purpose of enhancing the lives of its citizens.

Your failure and the failure of your predecessors have not only risked our lives but have endangered countless wild species and loss of habitat, and the associated beauty lost because of your ignorant pursuit of power. 

I call on you to resign, immediately and let others more capable of dressing our forests, maintaining our lands, and managing our precious resources, so what we have can be improved upon, not just forgotten in-between disasters. We deserve more from those that lead us than what we have endured under your leadership and those who follow your ideological designs. 

Riots, fires, uncontrolled homelessness, COVID hysteria, impacted traffic on virtually every highway, stifling regulations and taxes that impact every facet of our lives. 

California is out of control and it is obvious you do not understand

how to bring it back to what it once was and could be again.

White Privilege

 White Privilege, even the name of White Privilege evokes racist emotions from those that profess such a disparity.  This is the epitome of identity politics where one group defines the actions of another group and makes the determination that all within that group are guilty.  This is blatant racism.

I am not suggesting that whites do not have privileges, but all groups have privileges or benefits, but the invocation of guilt associated with Race is wrong and immoral.   Of course, there are racist whites but in the same sentence, you can quantify racist blacks and make general assumptions that all races have racist elements.  But the question of why Whites are more racist than other groups of people might be important, but only if it were true, and in this case, it is not.

White Privilege is a fabricated construct of the far left to marginalize the success of the European White Culture but not those still in Europe and to demonstrably change the narrative of the minor cultural advances within this country, and only within this country.  

I am not minimizing the individual ideas, scientific advances, and the leadership of those who are not white, on the contrary, those individuals should be lauded, and glorified for what they have accomplished, just as the individual achievements of all should be praised and recognized. 

We should recognize the continuance of this abhorrent practice by the left to identify groups and ignoring the individuals as a seditious act to destabilize this great nation by dividing its citizens into competing teams whose survival depends on destroying the others playing in this incipient but destructive philosophy.

Privilege is a term that should only be used for the rights and opportunities granted to citizens of the United States of America and never used to define specific groups of Americans, even if by wealth or status there may be some of all races who do have more privileges because of their own hard work, the hard work of their parents, luck, etc.…

White Privilege is a myth, it is a political ploy from the left,  exclusive of the left,  made up to sow discontent and chaos, nothing more.  

The Loss of Morality

I wanted to make a quick and easy observation.  With the obvious decline of society and the breakdown of our past social norms, like morality, truth, and our civil liberties there has to be a reason why.

1.     the state of being subject only to laws established for the good of the community, especially with regard to freedom of action and speech.

 Being civil with each other has morphed into, some have to be civil to those who do not have to reciprocate.  Meaning that if you agree with me then I will be civil.  That is dictatorial.   

Liberties mean, the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.

Both sides of this equation can point to the oppressive restrictions being imposed, but this is where truth comes into play.  The truth about liberties is that they cannot be forced or coerced, they cannot be regulated or mandated, they simply exist and continue as long as the system works cooperatively.  The breakdown occurs when groups try to instill their liberties as more important than anothers liberties

Morality has become a subjective ideology that proclaims that any Morality is acceptable as long as the individual involved agrees. “The philosophy of moral relativism, which holds that each person is free to choose for him or herself what is right and wrong, is becoming the unofficial creed for many in the United States and other Western nations.”  Dallin Oaks.

 Truth is a constant and not an individual interpretation.  “Truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come” (D&C 93:24)  Our limited understanding of the Truth is a constant reminder to look toward the Divine, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6) Christ said to us all. 

With the decline of Christ in our country, we are forced to attempt to determine those truths without the help of the Devine and as a result; we are floundering; we are suffering; we are like children lost in a dense unnavigable forest that blinds us at every turn and prevents us from seeing the clarity of life; we are forced to wander helplessly amidst the blackness that surrounds us. 

When Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6) He was not referring to some esoteric idea, He is the truth, He is the way to truth and to eternal life.  We all need to look to God to recapture our lost morality, diminish or relativistic notions about life, God and society, and then and only then will we find our way back to those Civil Liberties that support us all toward a more promising future.

Breaking the Law.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.  Ronald Reagan.

There is a movement that is trying to change that precept and hold society guilty rather than the individual.  By doing so, the fundamental principles of our nation are at risk of being rewritten and our constitution abandoned. 

Personal responsibility (or individual responsibility) is “The idea that human beings choose, instigate, or otherwise cause their own actions,” whereas social responsibility is “an ethical framework and suggests that an entity, be it an organization or individual, has an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large.”

An example is the estimated loss of $1.4 billion dollars, according to data from Property Claim Services, a Verisk Analytics company. It could take months to assess the financial toll related to recent unrest, and yet, very few individuals have been held to account. 

If Society is to blame who pays the debt of those protests?  It is easy to hold individuals responsible simply by identifying those who we involved, but even if Society is to blame for the actions of those involved, in this ongoing riot, who is responsible for the damage?  Surely not the shop owner.

When we transfer personal responsibility away from the individual and into the ethereal realm of “society” the ethical framework is also reorganized and rewritten to accommodate the needs of the many without regard for the needs of the few.  This may sound great but when you are the shop owner and your needs are not deemed societally prudent, then you, the individual is forgotten and discarded.

The United States was founded on the principles of individual rights and liberties, not on the collective whims of a social hierarchy.  We may have developed some of those hierarchical patterns, they are the result of left-leaning leaders who wish to move our country away from our fundamental constitution and into a more socialistic style of government.

He pulled a small booklet from his shirt pocket.

“This is a pocket Constitution,” he said. “It’s 4,400 words. About 7000 words if you count the amendments.” Porter then turned toward a large document on a nearby table. It looked like an encyclopedia.

We have already changed the fundamental aspects of our original constitution and with it our inalienable rights and freedoms and with it our responsibilities and duties converting ourselves from individuals to social slaves, more concerned about how others view us than how we see ourselves.  Without personal responsibility narcissistic endeavors fill our lives, leaving us with no room for others or other opinions. 

I am assuming some understanding by the reader that Marxism, Socialism, Fascism, and Communism are all related behind the ideology that the centralization of power diminishes the need for individual growth and weakens the connection between all men through the process of reduced individual responsibility.   How easy it is to bend a law or break a law when society is blamed and not the individual who actually committed the crime.

Why would an individual want to work harder for the nameless and the powerless god of socialism?  What is there to gain by being innovative when the philosophy and ideology clearly proclaims that all they do is for the good of the many, but the many are historically given less than the few at the top? 

In the United States, our congress passes laws for the masses and just like most MSFC’s (Marxist, socialist, fascist and communist) those laws do not apply to the upper echelons of society, leaving the masses wondering why the few are treated better than the many? 

The answer to that question is simple when a law is broken, the individual is responsible, regardless of who broke the law, or how much money or influence they have or their relationship to other powerful people, they are subject to the same laws as are we all. 

Ronald Reagan had it right.  Our emphasis on the individual is the most efficient way to create a workable society where equal justice is afforded to all.  When we focus our efforts on the individual and support his or her rights of free choice, free speech, and opportunity, we automatically provide those same privileges to society as a whole.

We may still choose, that may not always be the case.  Perhaps we should make the choices back to what we used to have, or at least what we were supposed to have.  The constitution was written well, its precepts can work for everyone, but it will not work, and has failed to work when MSFC like precepts are introduced.

Questionable Moralities

Understanding politics is not difficult when you understand the motivation of the individual politicians and the groups who hope to influence those politicians.

There is a symbiotic relationship between the good and bad of both ends of that spectrum.  The organizations that want to influence the positive end of the scale, do so, mostly from an altruistic ideology.  They are not devoid of financial goals or the hope of economic benefits, but they possess a moral guideline that limits their “do whatever it takes” philosophy to make money.

Forbes compiles a list of the most ethical companies each year.  The problem with the Forbes lies in the process of how to get on the list.   Each company must pay for the privilege of being tested and I assume each of the testing variables is known prior to the company being tested, making the test somewhat invalid if the company in question has ulterior motives to be on the list.

Perhaps I am being a bit negative but when I know I am being tested, I cram for the test, study the details that will be required by the exam and only study those things that will ensure a successful outcome.  Not a bad strategy but it does not increase my long- term understanding, nor does it change my initial underlying motivations, it is only a test that must be passed in order to get the award promised by the test, a diploma, a certificate, or a name on a list.

Understanding a politician is the process of understanding their long term political history.  Of course,  people can change but those changes, in order to be fully recognized must have history, again not unlike the child who is caught with his proverbial hand in the cookie jar who promises never to it again.

The past performances of an individual or a large multinational corporation is the best predictor of future actions and inner motivation.

On a personal level, I have had to undergo a few major changes in my life, as all of us do to maintain our inner and substantial ideology.  Doing so takes time and sacrifice and it is only through the process of sacrifice that genuine change can occur and only time will cement those changes into the minds of others who watch us, love us, despise us, and trust us. 

The difficulty in determining a future motivation is uncovering the past decisions of an individual and an organization, by sifting through the various tests that were undertaken to bolster their outward appearance.  These tests, whatever they may be, prove or disprove the worth and value of an individual.

Those with a clear heart are motivated by the outcome of these trials and tests and are bolstered toward self-improvement, striving to better themselves and helping those around them. 

We all suffer the tests of life, that is a given, a constant and persistent reminder that our existence is not simply a static occurrence of time or circumstance.  Our lives, all our lives have meaning and purpose.  The morals or the lessons we learn or forsake, due to unhealthy motivations, determine the strength or weakness of our character.  The more we pursue that which is positive the less we follow that which is negative, it really is that easy.

Unfortunately, our leaders, very seldom seem to have the predilection of selflessness that when pursued never fails to instill in the recipient the desire to do better, to do what is right or what is in the best interest of others.  They are too often so entangled by the cords of egoism and greed that their connections invariably lead to more narcissism and arrogance.

When a country like ours, or any country for that matter allows its leaders to masquerade as moral, honest or sincere but are covered by humanlike trappings that hide the incubus or succubus below the patterns of behavior is easy to ascertain.

A succubus or Incubus (the male form) is a demon from Hell that occupies the human body.  It is a myth but based on what I see in our political system, in our society, and in the world in general, they seem to have some real-life correlation.  How else can you explain the attitudes of so many who willingly want to destroy our constitution, dismantle our police and justice systems, destroy the family and our individuality by grouping everyone into a political group or subgroup based on color, race, gender preference, etc...

Our political leaders, those who are willingly trying to destroy the United States and those who are unwilling to defend it might as well be demons from Hell.  My prediction based on what I see is that our constitutional rights will continue to erode while our society continues to fracture.  With those widening cracks comes structural failure and our infrastructures will falter, leaving millions without the basic services they have become accustomed.  Every facet of our civilization will be rewritten and as has been done throughout history, our history will be rewritten and the facts of who we once were will be forgotten.

A grave prediction for sure but only if we, those who can see clearly, fail to act in restoring the rule of law, moral integrity, and the foundations of our Constitution.  “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke.

Now more than ever Good Men are Needed.

I think and understand, do you?

I think, and yes, I know, who really cares about what I think?  But as I was saying, I think and therefore I opinionate, I suppose, I theorize, and I speculate.  That is what thinking is all about.  If we do not think and hypothesize, make assumptions, and draw conclusions based on our thoughts then what good is thinking?

The Democrats do not want us to think for ourselves, they would prefer to do our thinking for us, and it appears we are more than willing to let them. 

What we think defines us as individuals.  How we react to what we think defines us as courageous or cowards.  However, it matters what we think and what we think depends on what we understand in relation to what we have learned. 

Learning is determining what is worthwhile and what is not.  In other words, and like the old computer adage says, “Garbage in, garbage out,” telling us all that learning the right things will help find what is worthwhile to learn.  Too often we trust those who say they know something but fail to realize the rhetoric is worthless without experience and understanding.

Too often we have mistaken knowledge for wisdom, it is not.  Wisdom is the ability to wisely use the knowledge obtained and learned, not the wholesale acquisition of trivial facts.  Facts can be fun but for the most part facts are worthless, especially in a time like ours where the facts of one day are different then the facts of tomorrow, leading many to fall sway to winds of doctrine that plague our society. 

A few years ago, I had a student who claimed he did not need to learn anything.  All that he needed was readily available on his phone and he proceeded to prove his worth by having me ask him any question I could think of.   I thought for a moment and then asked him to look up how to build a wall?

He quickly typed and started to read.  The steps he read were correct but then I added I meant a brick wall.  Again, he typed and read the directions and with a proud smile, he said, “see,” it’s all here, he tapped his phone in triumph.  

  

“So, go build the wall,” 

He obviously could not, and he knew he could not.  He had no actual experience building anything, even a simple block wall.  (there is nothing simple about it.)

We are bombarded with facts, figures, percentages and information and start to think that because we have thought we understood the words, we have the ability to follow through, but that follow through takes time and effort and hours of practice to be competent, to have wisdom and experience.

The 4^th of July is two days away and most of us are complaining about having to stay at home, again, because of the facts that bombard us hourly with increases of those infected by the coronavirus.  

The questions I ask myself are:

1.        Why do we have a July 4^th Holiday?  This may take some time to learn.

2.       Is this a Holiday that I want to celebrate?  If not, ask your boss if you can work instead.  No reason to celebrate if you do not understand, believe or agree with the events of this historical day.  You may even want to extend your rioting hours, call your local BLM chapter, I think they might be able to help.

3.       Can we celebrate this day within the context of the current shutdowns and restrictions?

There are many ways to pay homage to the lives of those who have passed, there are even more ways not too.  Despite the issues, I have with our national, state, and local leaders I want to continue to learn what is best for me and my family.  I want to follow the admonitions of Paul, the Apostle as written in the Articles of Faith that says:   

       

"We believe in being honest, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul  "We believe all things, we hope all things," we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things,".    

      

Knowledge is good but understanding and applying that knowledge is so much better.  “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, but speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”  

   

We are surrounded by those who would push us into the unknown winds and do so without regard for our safety, our well being nor our very lives, but as we gain understanding and wisdom we can overcome their tempestuous ways and find safe harbor in the reality of understanding and though faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ.

Socialism all over again.

I don’t know about you, but I feel as if history is repeating itself right in front of my eyes.  History often repeats itself and when it does it goes unnoticed until after the effects, leaving many to wonder how we let that happen again?

You may not agree with my following assessment but this view has been proved and documented by historians and historical pundits, like Dinesh Di Souza who has spoken widely about the Democrats and their association with the KKK, that is the Ku Klux Klan for those of you who do not know.  And incidentally, the Klan had its beginning just after the Civil War by southern and Northern Democrats, for the purpose of slowing the progress of newly freed slaves.

Di Souza exposes the left and their lies about the Klan and their relationship with those who joined this racist organization.  This is the point in history that is repeating.  The names have changed but the actions are still the same.  The insidiousness of these actors is abominable as they continue to terrorize the country for gaining power.

Cullors: “We Are Super-Versed On Ideological Theories” Of Marxism

She is stating her case BLM wants to follow a Marxist ideology.  That means they want to destroy the American Ideology and the constitution that goes with it.

Speaking to Jake Tapper on CNN on Friday, Cullors, one founder of Black Lives Matter said that “President Trump not only needs to not be in office in November,” but that “he should resign now.”

Meaning that their organization of promoting Black Lives is nothing more than a ruse to shift the power in the country away from a lawfully elected President.  I could get into the minutia of how BLM = Marxism but that would take too long, I think her admission above is sufficient.  BLM is attempting to overthrow this government and to dismantle our Constitution. 

They are not alone in this endeavor.  When you hear the voices of other Democrats, when you read what they have said or what they propose the facts are clear, they do not want to follow the Constitution.  They prefer to allow the wholesale terror of BLM, Antifa, Boogaloo Boys, White Supremacist, or fascist to run havoc in the streets.  The similarities between these anarchists/ socialist groups are more in line with Hitler's Germany and the Democratic party than they are with the right. 

Something to keep in mind, when Hitlers, National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi is the derivation “National Socialist” or sozialistisch in German.  Put the two together and you get Nazi.)  was trying to find a legal precedent to exterminate the Jews they found their connection to the eugenics movement of the 1920s and Marguerite Sanger, the KKK reassurance and President Woodrow Wilson who champions the controversial film, Birth of a Nation and helped promote the KKK.

The Nazi’s took their cue from our Democrat leaders and killed over 6 million Jews and the new orders of chaos are trying to institute a new level of division that includes whites, Jews and anyone who disagrees with their current stance and power grab.  This is not about racism; this is about power and control.

Many prominent Black leaders are routinely called racist just for disagreeing with the BLM positions, go figure?

History should be a way for us to improve by not repeating the mistakes or evils of the past but we are allowing these same thugs to poison our minds, reinvent a history so that any lessons of the past are forgotten.  They are destroying our history, removing our statues and contaminating our minds and the minds of our children.

I for one dislike repeating the mistakes of my past.  I would think as a Nation we would want to move forward rather than back to a time of shame and disgust perpetrated by the Liberal Left, but it appears we’re sliding right into where they want us.  God Help Us…

Religious Freedom

If you are a Jew or Christian in America, the seriousness of your Judaism or Christianity is now being tested.

People look back in time and wonder how religious people, especially religious leaders — specifically, the clergy — could have failed in times of moral crisis. The failure of most rabbis, priests and pastors to speak out today — when the risk to personal safety is so much less than it was in communist and fascist countries — should provide the answer: Religion doesn’t have all that much impact on most religious people. During comfortable times, it provides two essentials to a happy and fulfilled life — community and meaning — but when tested, it often fails like an umbrella that fails to expand just as it starts to rain.

America is being taken over by violent mobs; a vast amount of destruction and stealing has taken place (with little police intervention and the apathy of our political leaders). Why aren’t all clergy delivering thundering sermons about the Seventh Commandment, “Thou shalt not steal”? Does it now come with an asterisk?

A central part of a major American city has been seized and occupied by people who hate America and its values, including its Judeo-Christian values. Heard any clergy (aside from some evangelical Christians) speaking out against it?

And most ominous by far, for the first time in American history, free speech — the mother of all freedoms — is being widely suppressed, not by the government but by the press, the universities, the high schools, the elementary schools, all the giant internet media, Hollywood and virtually every major business in America. Christians and Jews place repentance at the center of their theologies, yet there is no place for repentance if you did or said one insensitive thing — real or alleged — even if it was 20 or more years ago. Yet all we get from American religious leaders on this matter is … silence.

The freest, least racist, most opportunity-providing country in history — “the last best hope of earth,” in Abraham Lincoln’s words — is smeared as “systemically racist”; all white people are declared “racist”; and the statues of the greatest Americans, including George Washington and even Abraham Lincoln, are toppled and/or defaced. And all we get from most American religious leaders is either agreement or silence.

It leads this religious American to ask the question the anti-religious ask: Of what use is religion?

Take the claim that being “colorblind” is racist.

 If you are a religious Jew or Christian — let alone a rabbi, priest or minister — do you believe that? Do you believe that the human ideal is not to be colorblind? Do you believe that the ideal is to see every person, first and foremost, as a member of a race? Is that what you learned at seminary? Is that what you have taught from your pulpit all of your life?

I doubt it. I assume that, until as recently as a year or even six months ago, you have always believed and preached that we are, in Martin Luther King Jr.’s words, to measure people not by “the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Isn’t it fundamental to all Bible-based religions that we are all created in God’s image, that God has no race and that Adam and Eve, from whom we all descend, had no race? If you are a Christian, do you see Christians of other races first as fellow Christians or first as members of their race? If you are a Jew, do you see Jews of other races as anything other than fellow Jews? Does God?

So, why the silence? Why aren’t all rabbis, priests and pastors telling their congregations and telling America — in tweets, on Facebook, in letters to the editor, on television and radio, in opinion pieces — that there is one race, the human race, and that the only antidote to racism is to deny that race determines our worth, not to affirm its significance?

Does an ideology that affirms the significance of race have an honorable pedigree? Has it ever led to anything good? Isn’t that exactly what Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan advocated?

So, how are we to explain this tragic failure of religious Jews and Christians — and their clergy — to speak up against looting (aka stealing) and for freedom, for America, for Western civilization and for being colorblind?

The answer to this question also goes to the core of what it means to be religious. At the center of our two religions is the notion of fear of God: “Fear God, and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). But what is now apparent is that most Jews and Christians fear the left, fear The New York Times, fear being shunned by “friends” on Facebook and mobbed on Twitter more than they fear God.

Take out the trash

We have a much bigger problem than dealing with the Coved 19 Virus.  Most of us can clearly see the inherent dangers of plunging into a recession or worse, a world-wide depression.  The deaths associated with economic uncertainty will overshadow any fears associated with the Coved 19 Pandemic.

These problems reach into the root of who we are, where we have come from, and stifles any chance of us staying on the path our Founding Fathers established.  The Foundation of our Constitution is at stake.

With an overzealous Media espousing every death as if it were the cause and harbinger of more deaths to follow.  The blatant disregard of good news and the obvious truths espoused by others goes unreported, leaving the mysterious and unexplained in the minds of those who wish to follow without thinking, exacerbating the already tenuous issues of control over our liberties.

Our leaders, especially the Liberals, who practice their Priestcrafts with impunity and without regard for the effects on our government or the world, plot, design and conspire for their own gain, working their black arts for an unseen Master who is their god in their unnamed religion.

Just so there is no misunderstanding “The self-called liberal is usually one who has broken with the fundamental principles or guiding philosophy of the group to which he belongs.… He claims membership in an organization but does not believe in its basic concepts; and sets out to reform it by changing its foundations.…” John Witsoe.

The foundation of this country is the Constitution and the Liberals of today are Hell Bent on dismantling and eviscerating this most profound and inspired document.  Not just liberals, so-called conservatives are also to blame for not protecting and demanding deference and fealty to this God-given guide, that when followed secures the trust and freedoms of all who follow it.

For 244 years we have been blessed to live free of the tyranny of oppression and injustice and created a society that is unequaled.  Of course, we have our issues, but those issues are almost always the works of disruption and guile.  Principled people make mistakes, but principled people correct those mistakes and move forward.

This virus, as we are learning is no more deadly than others we live with every year, but because of the Media, the self-serving politicians and a gullible and closed-eyed populous the entire world as we know is at risk.  Our disingenuous leaders now know how easy it is to control the masses.  They have learned that fear is easy to instill and maintain.  When the truth is portioned and the facts are tenuous, the stories that are told, however fanciful and outrageous will be perceived as fact.

But it seems you can control all the people long enough to disrupt their lives, and like our last president declared, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Barack Obama

If you are a Liberal, you applaud such vibrato and fall in lockstep behind that goal to change our fundamental precepts.  The only way to change our foundation, to fundamentally transform the United States is to change the Constitution. 

That change is happening now.  Those in charge are either for that change or not interested in getting in the way of those who want to change.

Good men, all good men need to be engaged in a good cause that furthers the work of other righteous men and women, if not we are all doomed to live as slaves.

1.       Will this virus continue to regulate our lives, and will we be placated into giving up our rights and freedoms because of fear?

2.      Are we obligated to obey the edicts of a Draconian State like California? 

3.      Should we consider ourselves Good Men and Women and act to secure our freedoms?

4.      What can you do today to make a difference in protecting our rights and freedoms?
